SYNACT is a Consultancy and training organisation specialising in the different management aspects of people working together. The combination of training and Consultancy has grown over the years. In 1973 the organisation started on a basis of Consultancy work done in the field of HRM. Soon SYNACT (then Bureau Dr A.L.M. Knaapen BV) added the educational part of the work to their range. From a strategic point of view SYNACT is looking at organisations, working on their skills, knowledge and attitudes towards themselves and their customers.

SYNACT specialises in change management and uses training to support the changes. In these changes we focus on the workforce. In our view people, and their knowledge, are the most important asset to an organisation. With a background in HRM and years of experience in a learning approach for organisations SYNACT uses training and education as a key tool in its approach.

SYNACT Opleiding is the branch of our organisation that specialises in CallCenter environments. This type of work requires a special type of worker. The fast growing and fast moving nature of this industry poses special problems for management. Recruitment, skill development, evaluation and supervision, coaching & training and a proper work environment have different requirements in this industry. Most times working with young people but sometimes also with elderly employees, working with short contacts with clients or customers, the work demands a high level of professionalism. In our team we have specialists on communication, supervision, management, client relations assessment, ergonomics as well as our own CallCenter with experienced people in CallCenter hard and software.

 


SYNACT, or actually SYN-ACT stands for Acting in Synergy. This name was devised to emphasise the fact that SYNACT specialises in the field of Management Synergy; to stimulate knowledge and learn to make a worthwhile contribution by utilising your skills. To solve problems, to achieve goals, to develop new ideas. In our project we therefore work closely with our clients (partners) to ensure a neat fit between our own work and the goals set by our partners.
We define our goals in a way that they are measurable, and agree with our partners in what way results will be measured. To be able to see the progress more clearly we also agree on an assessment at the start or agree a starting position. Making progress visual is not only to the benefit of our partners and us but also to the workers in the organisation. They will be able to see progress and be more motivated to help make the change work.
